"We love this place. Have been there 3 times with our dogs. Walking them is so easy there is a large green area just outside or a walkway around the estate, just what you need early morning and bedtime. The staff are great they are professional courteous and friendly. Emma the manageress is a joy and works really hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. The chef also needs a shout also, the meals are top class. "

"A brief but very pleasant stay! I slept over before a trail marathon the early the next morning in Grizedale Forest. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful. They offered to run me down to the start line, I needed my car, but that was very kind!
