"Very happy with the location and the view over the river and York from our room. Within easy walking distance of the centre with excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. Service attentive but unobtrusive. Lifts efficient with little waiting required - important since we were on the top floor. Would certainly choose it were we to0 return to stay in York.."

"Impressive building with a feeling of class and sophistication. Staff friendly and helpful. Gym is good for a hotel facility. We picked a garden view room which was worth it as the view was fantastic to wake up to. Nice bar and (depending on which time of year you go) ‘Thors tipi’ located in the grounds, gave a lovely Xmas vibe. Came a few years ago and the hotel has benefited massively from the refurb. Right next to the train station. Parking onsite "

"Parking is always a concern but with a large secure NCP very close by i felt ok. The staff were polite and exremely helpful. Room was good with a great mattress, a good nights sleep with blackout curtains. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. Thankyou Malmaison we will book again."
