"The restaurant is unbelievable! The dinner was one of the best I've ever had! No kidding. The breakfast was great but I chose a relatively standard option of eggs bacon and hash browns with tost. It was very good but not exceptional like the dinner but that is my fault for ordering a standard breakfast. The room was extremely clean. Spotless! The design is a bit old but they did their best to make it very comfortable! Just what I needed for an overnight stay."

"I have stayed here multiple times on road trips from Alberta to Texas, it is always clean and quiet with a throwback charm. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The showers are hot and the beds comfortable which is what one wants after a long day on the road. I would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again on future trips through Raton."

"This hotel lives up to it's good reviews. Friendly staff, clean room. We had an accessible room as I have trouble with my hip and need handicap bars. It had a built in chaise/couch which was nice. Washer and dryer at hotel, only one set, but reasonable...worked well. Breakfast was GREAT! The pastries were under a warming light....3 brands of yogurt to choose from....4 warmers with scrambled eggs and omelettes in one, sausage patties in another, fried potatoes in another and biscuits/gravy...
