We love Stateline. The entire area of Lake Tahoe is worth it even if the hotel sucks. My family & I live in Reno so we come up to Tahoe pretty often throughout the year. Winter, summer it doesn't matter, the surroundings are gorgeous all year round.

The Stateline is truly a beautiful little city with so many good food options and shopping but my favorite part is that it's nearby the beautiful Lake Tahoe. Which does get over crowded but as a local I know the spots.

The lake was beautiful, but it was $30 per person because it was private. And if you want to go to a public beach, it's about a 30 minute drive.

Middle of spring so not too busy, but it still feels busy around that area. Plenty of nearby shopping.

"The valet and baggage check guys were great! They were quick personable and did a great job loading the car. I had done a lot of shopping on this trip and the bags were heavy! bags were heavythe car "
"Only stayed 1 night…nice but don’t think the $40 (w/tax) Resort fee is worth it as we weren’t there long enough to even enjoy the pool or spa facilities "
"It was perfect for our first time in Lake Tahoe. Very quiet area perfect to relax. FYI House has a lot of stairs to go to the rooms it has 3 floors 4 if you count where the pool and sauna are located."
