A very good kitchen, although it could do with some new pans... two were unusable as all scratched..and maybe a small bottle of cooking oil so guests can cook without having to buy any. "I would go back. Staff was very friendly and tried very hard to make my stay enjoyable. Minus one star because I had to go buy an electrical adapter and I got lost looking for the laundry. Also, couldn’t find the hair dryer or room safe till the last day. Breakfast was tasty and the lady in the breakfast area was super friendly and took pride in her work. "Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

"This holiday house is cosy and has a sunny patio. Lots of birds. At night it is peaceful. We love to walk the paths around Scheldeoord, and to walk along the dijk and beach. We have stayed here twice now. and will return to be close to family in Zeeland."
