"The property was comfortable and clean. It suited our needs, as we were out most of the day. If I have one complaint it would be that in my opinion the shower head and connecting hose needs to be replaced as they were quite grubby and didn’t fit in with the cleanliness of the rest of the property. But overall it was a pleasant stay. "

"Well since you’re asking! Everything was good, apart from just three things. The freezer didn’t work, the door didn’t close properly. The oven and stove top were questionable; the cool down cycle on the oven was long and loud. The master bed mattress was a bit skinny and quite uncomfortable. Everything else was great. "

"We stayed 3 nights in this lovely cottage right in the heart of Pitlochry. Close to all amenities, it had everything we required for our stay. Lovely hosts who went out of their way to assist and make our stay as great as possible. "

"Stayed in this cabin to attend the Highland Games in Braemar. Great cabin. Clean and comfortable. Easy check in and owners/managers were very quick to respond if any queries. Hot tub was great and would be even better in winter. Only suggestion would be some hooks on the back of the bedroom and bathroom doors for hanging towels etc. Definitely recommend. "

It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house"

We were able to do many day trips to surrounding areas. Great location if you want to visit Pitlochry, Blair Athol, Braemar, and/or other areas within Perthshire. Wonderful hiking trails from the town that vary in length/time that range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. We also highly recommend The Cabin for a meal or two...

"Such a warm welcome from the owner was much appreciated. Only stayed one night and had the best sleep in a long time; the bed was really comfy and location was very peaceful at night. "In a very remote area but absolutely lovely place to stay. Food at the hotel was nice with reasonable choice and prices, obvious a bit more expensive than some places but to be fair it is worth it for the location. Very friendly staff and lovely lounge area with open fires "
