"We absolutely love the Overlook cabin. It’s nestled into a very quiet court on the Stanislaus river. There are so many things to do in the area. We enjoyed the lake, hiking, fishing, river walks, and having a beautiful place to relax in. The overlook had all of the amenities we needed. Sitting on the deck in the early mornings watching the sun come up over the river, priceless."

Understand that on a hot day, the front bedroom and living room get quite warm. "We did not expect a 2 story condo with 1.5 baths, a kitchen and 2 balconies decks. It was beautiful in the pine trees and you could hear a pin drop. There was a gas bbq and a wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi. It is an older property that could use some screen doors to open some sliders and a few repairs with kitchen drawers that fell out. We should have brought salt, pepper, foil as we did not bring some of these basics. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would like to return again. "
