"The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each...

"DON'T BOOK. The Carducci 24 B&B no longer exists. We arrived on 1st October 2017 to find a hotel with its shutters down, gates locked and no answer from the bell or first 5 phone calls.
