"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"The in-room mineral bath was so rejuvenating. The shuttle service to near-by train stations was convenient. The meals were “out of this world” scrumptious and unique to Japan salmon, tuna, barracuda, etc). The staff were kind and gracious (and busy). This place is a gem! If I ever find my way back to this area, I will definitely return!"

"We arrived after dark via taxi and were surprised at the incredible location and architecture. This is an authentic Japanese experience— tatami floors and comfortable futon mats!! We knew we would be magically surprised in the morning and we were! It’s nestled up on the hillside with an incredible view of Mt Fuji! "Had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the fujiyama base. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. It was just a couple of minutes from the train station so that was a big plus. Would consider staying there again if we were in the area. "

"I really like this place. It was very cool and relaxing while there. The service was great and the lobby was very relaxing with very comfortable furniture. The place was a little walk uphill from the bus station and getting taxis were not easy depending on when you arrive. "The staff are very accomodating and very welcoming. They picked us up from and sent us to the train station for free. They offered us ( 5 people) a ride with a ¥2000 fee to lake kawaguchi. They also offered to pick us up from the Fujikawaguchiko masjid back to the guesthouse for the same rate later that night but they did not turn up . Instead, they told us to get our own taxi as they have picked up another customer. Luckily we got a help from the masjid cafe staff who called a taxi for us. We...

"Beautiful, relaxing unit with foot bath and private onsen. Sauna room too but did not have time to use it. Communication tablet worked well when we had questions. No microwave and no coffee refulls but refrigerator had snacks and drinks upon late arrival so that was a relief! Train tram short walk uphill and bus stop a short walk downhill in opposite direction so very convenient location!"
