Beautiful home
This house provided the exact accommodations my family needed. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. The hot tub was not working during our stay. I found the master bedroom window open with no screen right before going to bed so that freaked me out. It’s my hope the previous tenant opened it and forgot to shut it. The owner was great to respond to all questions and checked on us throughout our stay.

The communication with property manager and the house was awesome. The only thing that I was caught off guard about was some of the rules. Please make sure you read them so you are not surprised if you are charged.

Wonderful home!
We had a great stay at this house! The host was very communicative and her house is beautiful and well stocked. Plenty of pots, pans and seasonings available for use. The location was perfect between Summerville and Rome. The hot tub was a big hit! Our family had a great time and will definitely be back in the future!

The home was really beautiful. It was cold out so we couldn’t use the pool or hot tub. Next time we will come up in the summer months. There where a few things the internet wasn’t great and we would look the show we where watching, the kitchen really didn’t have a great selection of bowls and pots and pans that weren’t old and needed to be replaced. But the overall time we spent was great with our friends and family. Thank you.

Perfect for a group.
We had nine adults and the home was a great outpost for a weekend adventure to Paradise Gardens, Rome, and surrounding areas. We cooked in both nights, and the kitchen and grill were very serviceable.

It was after four pm be for we could check in had a wedding rehearsal to be at at 6:00 pm had 8 adults needing to get ready for rehearsal. Called host no answer text host no answer . Called support they couldn’t get up with host. Got House keeper to finally let us in around 4:20 pm why she finished cleaning last room . The hot tub was out of order, couldn’t find the washer. My guest left on Sunday a day early because the beds where hard so they got a hotel , the master bed was good. Nice quiet area and pool was nice

Great Retreat Property in Summerville,Ga

Perfect location! Wonderful host communication!
We were looking for a home where my family, my sister-in-law's family and my brother-in-law's family could all stay together, that was near Lyerly, GA. We had a long, dirty, rainy, and tiring and work week on some inherited property there. This home was perfect for us. The house was clean, quiet, and spacious enough for all of us. The house host was very responsive to all communication and absolutely wonderful, both before and during our stay! The only drawback was not having our own washer and dryer for all of our dirty and stinky clothes! We would love to come back again in the summer and actually use the pool and hot tub next time! All in all, it was the perfect location, peaceful, stocked, spacious, and the host was amazing! Would definitely stay again!

Awesome property for our team
The home was very spacious and clean. Check in was super easy and the host reached out several times to make sure we had all we needed. We came for a wrestling tournament in a nearby town and this was so much better than staying in a hotel. Plenty of beds and our kids loved it.

This house was the perfect place for us. Very peaceful place with a lot of room. Had an issue with water heater when we arrived but it was taken care with no hesitation. Property manger was always ready to make sure we had everything we needed. It was perfect.

Clean and comfortable property, quiet. Perfect for a small Thanksgiving get away. The kitchen was well stocked- we were able to cook a Thanksgiving dinner without difficulty. Owner was responsive to questions. Will stay again!

Tennis weekend in Summerville!
We had a team of 8 women traveling to Rome, GA for a tournament and wanted to stay in one house rather than several hotel rooms adjacent to the facility. The pool, and ability to accommodate our party without grown adults sleeping on bunk beds sealed the deal for us. We were within 25 minutes of Rome Tennis Center and all had a bed. The pool and expansive deck was such a treat after long hot days on the court. The property was nice and quiet and we were comfortable, plenty of parking, plenty of beds for tired adults! Only complaints were the ice maker wasn’t working, they did provide a bag of ice and some ice cube trays. Our tennis facility ran out of ice immediately each morning so we were scrambling to fill out coolers at nearby gas stations….and there is no washer and dryer for lots of sweaty clothes- they do provide a laundry service for $20 for 8 pieces.

Great family friendly spot
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this location and house nestled in Summerville. Our kids range from age 13 to 18, and absolutely loved the swimming pool and surrounding parks. A very secluded and private vacation nestled in the woods. We loved the wildlife and deer that we saw almost daily in our front yard. Definitely recommend visiting the local national parks for excellent hiking and scenic views. Paradise Gardens was another intriguing and curious destination for our older kids. "The Crushed Tomato" in town had delicious pizza! Very near by Dollar General and Ingles grocery store made it super convenient. Would definitely recommend this spot - the property manager was super attentive. Do make sure you know beforehand, that there is not a washer and dryer for personal use. (Somehow we missed that before we went.) The service is available for a fee. The kitchen was fairly well stocked to make cooking at home very convenient. And the pool was an absolute hit. Clean, refreshing, and awesome for our age kids to play in.

Volleyball Camp Getaway
We were in town for a volleyball camp at Berry College. This was a great place to stay. The girls could spend time together and bond as a team. We were close to the college and close up town. We really enjoyed staying here.

Amazing retreat great location and amenities were perfect!
My wife and our 4 kids (ages 7-18) stayed here for 8 nights. We swam in the pool, enjoyed the gorgeous front porch view as the kids ran down the hill and played amongst the trees to get the wiggles out after sitting in the car for awhile. The upstairs rooms have their own window AC units, which made for a cool and comfy stay for our older kids. All the bedrooms come equipped with ceiling fans, which was a big win for us all. Each room comes equipped with a basket of your own bathroom linens, which set my mind at ease in ensuring everyone had enough linens. We packed our own beach towels to only realize this is NOT necessary! They have beach towels for pool use in the house. This was a nice surprise. There are no pool toys or floats, thankful we packed our own. If you want to use the grill, you’ll need to bring your own briquettes as the home didn’t have any. We opted out of grilling due to no one selling any at the local stores. The manager offers them, but we didn’t want to pay the additional cost. The pool is 3’-8’ deep with no markings outside the pool. There is a steep drop off in the middle of the pool where it gets substantially deeper. This wasn’t an issue for us, but we were wondering what the depth of the pool was prior to our arrival. Thankfully all the information is provided upon arrival inside the house manual. The size of the pool was perfect! Besides leaves that fell off during the evening, there were no cleanliness issues whatsoever. We wished we were able to swim more, but we had several tickets purchased for events in Chattanooga (which is 1 hour away)… we also ventured off to Rome, GA our last day (25 minutes away) and it was perfect way to end our vacation. The location of the home is very secluded. We like this! The second building on the property you see in the pictures had no one in it during our entire 8 night stay. We didn’t have to share the pool or the swing set with anyone. This felt exactly like the retreat we needed. I really appreciated all the additional locks on every door to the house. This made my wife and kids feel even more comfortable. There were neighbor dogs that wondered over to the front yard and around the garage a few times, but ran away when we started to talk. The kitchen was fully stocked! Patricia responded to any questions or concerns we had timely! The one thing I wish I knew was there are no hangers in the closets. If you don’t mind living out of a suitcase, then no biggie.

This home was very clean and spacious. It was perfect for a get- together with my sisters and our children. The kids had a great time swimming in the big pool. This home is not far from Rome, Georgia, which is a very beautiful, historic town with several tourist sites.

Great place, various quibbles
The house, pool, and grounds are terrific overall, but I can't rate it 5 stars because of various quibbles. The cookware is one-star, very old, with degraded nonstick surfaces. The pool had a small pile of dirt in one corner, like someone jumped in all dirty. We stayed six or seven nights, and on the day we left, the pool was quite cloudy. The bedrooms are pretty bare, with few furnishings. I don't think any of them had a dresser or chest of drawers, although there was plenty of closet space. There was something wrong with the dishwasher; one rack was broken, and didn't seem to clean properly. I would stay there again if coming to the area, but a few improvements would make it 5-star.
