"Nice and quiet, located at the end of the canal which is aligned with restaurants and bars. Staff were very courteous and willing to help. Booked bed and breakfast as part of a package. Continental breakfast with various cheese, meats, cereal and pastries, but also a small buffet of hot food with a choice of eggs or omelets cooked whilst you wait. "Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Ibsens hotel. My only gripe is that the beds aren't great for a tall person like myself. Felt like I was going to fall out of the bed as the double is just two small singles pushed together. Staff are friendly and the hotel is in a fantastic area for getting around the city. The metro to the airport is very close by too. "

"The Strand Hotel had very nice staff and is in a good location near Nyhavn, and the room itself was fine overall. My main frustration was the bathroom, which had a sink and tub that barely drained and both looked pretty worn out. While the experience was just okay on an absolute basis, I looked at a lot of hotels in the area before booking the Strand and this one seemed like it was nicer than many others at similar price points. "

"Amazing hotel, right opposite the train and metro stations. Excellent location for getting around. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our side of the hotel looked directly onto the train platform, the noise of the trains was manageable and didnt bother us at all. Lots of train references throughout the hotel which was a quirky touch. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely consuder staying here again Thank you so much ❤️ "
