"Amazing stay at The Frangipani Tree, the hotel was lovely with around 9 rooms so it felt very private, and dining each morning and evening with an ocean view was magical. The real stand out was the staff and the food, everyone went abov4e and beyond to make us comfortable and the Chef made meals specifically to our requests - nothing was too much trouble. Loved being able to sunbathe overlooking the sea. The staff were amazing. The highlight of the stay was seeing the wild turtles in the sea right outside. The staff took seaweed to feed them. "The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. Food was excellent, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast. The menu has increased and has a great selection of Western and Asian dishes but is quite expensive."

I decided to upgrade to a seaview room and was presented with a room rate by a housekeeping boy that was way higher than the rate shown online.
