"It's definitely a good stay! As this is our second time to the resort, we really enjoyed the bedroom especially with the poolview - and it comes with a nice big comfy bed and sofa bed. The check-in staff was awesome! They were so quick and I breeze through my check-in and the staff were really attentive and accommodating to my requests. An amazing thing happened, we were singing a birthday song at the balcony for my daughter, and when we ordered room service the next time, the hotel gifted us a complimentary brownie cake. It was such a lovely gesture and surprise for my girl. We were caught offguard by such a thoughtful gesture... Anyway, we would come back again, especially as the kids love the beach, pool and room with the bathtub. The only thing I would recommend is that the place does need a touch-up here and there (some paint peeling off, etc). Otherwise, an awesome stay. Thanks to all the staff and management. "

"We had no idea what to expect as we booked last minute without doing any research nor looking at pictures. Also the name, One & Only Desaru, is somewhat non-descript, it doesn't evoke much... This is a 5-star resort, an oasis secluded from the world, large luxurious villas, private beaches and all -- and also, I guess, from paparazzis! That kind of a place. Top, top, top. Will return for sure."

"We spent two nights staying with my pals. The villas are worth staying in, with a nice environment and immaculate rooms. We had a great time. However, there isn't a tiny grocery in the resort, making it tough to purchase necessities. If we bring everything from home, the villas will be quite enjoyable. overall satisfactory to stay. "
