"Room cleaned fairly promptly when staying for a few days, this hotel is in a great location near the waterfront. Bar and restaurant both good. I would certainly stay there again if visiting Hobart and would recommend it "

"The property is huge with several cabins. It was quite organized and clean in general. I can understand the water in the tap in general is not drink quality. But not having even one water filter, which of course the facility can surely afford but a big shock. They could have at least bothered to have a filter water tap for drinking water and let people know before hand so people could arrange drinking water before travelling, it would have been great."

"Beautiful old building. Comfortable bed. Shower hot and good pressure. Good WIFI. Good value for money. Steep stairs to carry bags to rooms when upstairs. Not good for older people. No lifts. Very noisy from music and also people speaking and making noise in other rooms. Having to check in and then drive further to accomodation. "

"We booked a family room and we were pleased to find it was two separate rooms, excellent for noisy kids. Check-in was quick and painless, checkout the same. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from Salamanca markets, and about 10 minutes from the centre of the city. Parking is only $15 per night but you can park on the street 6pm-8am or on the weekends for free, which we did as were only there Friday night."
