"The property is undergoing a full renovation. Cute sized rooms with a small verandah overlooking the roses and vineyards. New styled rooms. Keeping with the retro theme. Beautiful gardens. Over 30 thousand rose bushes. Beautiful garden trails. Just peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. Next door the Barossa Chateau with gift shop, tour antiques and delicious high tea. Both hotel owners and Barossa Chateau owners made us welcome."

The only minor negative, no drinking water supplied for taking medication or middle of the night drink when you get up with a thirst . They also offered a cheaper night extra stay and a later checkout which was great."
