"The staff were delightful. The breakfast was fresh, appetising and varied. There was a very relaxed atmosphere generally. We particularly liked the grounds and the views of the mountains. You could walk to the nearby town of Tavira(2km) but it wasn't a pleasant walk so we took the car - this was the only downside for us as we like walking"

"This is a lovely villa in a lovely peaceful location, the pool was well maintained and the house was clean. There are however a number of negatives with this property; when we booked the property the pool was advertised as heated, it is not. There are air conditioning units in the sitting room and one in the master bedroom, neither of which work, we understand they have been "disabled". Steve is a lovely bloke and made sure everything was catered for. The converted farm house is Very special design all the modern amenities but with classy Original features. "This property is at the end of an unmade road which means you will see almost no-one during your stay so it's very private. It's an easy 30 minute drive from Faro. Rui, the host, is very helpful and easy to talk to. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and we wanted for nothing."

"Our group was 2 couples ( in our 60s) staying for a week. The Villa was perfect as both bedrooms had en suites along with decent sized living areas to relax. "Me and my family stayed for 3 nights ar Real Marine Residence. The two bedroom flat was excellent. We had a everting what we need for our stay. The only things that we could not take advantage was the roof top swiming pool due to the weather. The staff were very kind and helpfull. We paid for breakfast for duration of our stay and we was given one day free breakfast. We really enjoy our stay and will recomended this hotel to our freinds "
