Area is a bit run down. Hotel was clean. We are in town for a big event so everything was booked and our room price was obscenely high for what we got. We were definitely taken advantage of…should have had correct time in Rome’s, TV plugged in, adequate towels (room was booked for 4 so have towels for that many).

The hotel should show on site that there be an $150 fee to coming . Also the room smelled terrible of cigarettes and had tobacco residue on the floor and behind the night stand . There was no hotel soap either .

The room was not thoroughly cleaned prior to occupying it. There was dust on the night stand tables and there were some areas with stains. Also, there is a huge gap between the floor and bottom of the door which is not safe. I opted to put a chair under the door handle as an extra safety measure.

We waited 15 mins for someone to come to the front desk to check in. We were put on the top floor - with a toddler, and a broken elevator. The screws were coming out of the locks in our door. The tub drain was broken. Exit lights hanging from wires. Broken down ice machines. Beds are NOT queen-sized, as advertised. Only positive thing was the breakfast and breakfast staff - both were good. We would not recommend this establishment, and we will not stay here again.

The bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. The linens were new and clean. Those were the only positive things about the rooms. The interior hall carpets were filthy, the room laminate floor was gritty, and it looked like the walls had been primed but not painted yet. At breakfast, the apples, yogurt, and cheerios were the only things worth mentioning. I wouldn’t stay here again.
