"The Yankee has a variety of comfortable, spacious, clean rooms to suit the different needs of our various out-of-state family members when returning home for events. The staff are always very accommodating and helpful with any requests we may have. My husband and I now live in Florida, so having access to an indoor pool for swimming year-round is pleasant. We were quite disappointed to note the weekday hot breakfast items consisted of only the same two items every day: scrambled eggs (decent) and brown and serve pre-cooked and microwable "sausage links" that did not agree with several people in our party and no one ate them the rest of the week. Before this became a Wydham "Collection" Property, it was The Yankee Inn, and the hot weekday breakfast was always exemplary. There were different items offered on different days, potatoes, bacon, eggs and real sausage, all of which were freshly cooked not just heated from frozen."
