"I arrived here with my twin 10 year old children, traveling as a single mom. We stayed for a week. The staff was so kind and accommodating and we were VERY demanding. "8 adults & 4 kids from 15-6 stayed for a week in Taastrup. We loved the place and enjoyed easy access to the S train to get into Copenhagen and local shopping. As a group, we all enjoyed the outdoor table and bedroom layout and the kids loved the indoor play area and hot tub. A point of interest is that it's near the train tracks and so when we were outside we heard trains going by. It did NOT effect sleeping unless we had windows open and overall it was not a complaint - just a reality we were surprised by. Taastrup is 25 minutes from Copenhagen Central station by S train. It was not a factor for us and the trip to/from each day went quickly. Being near the end of the line meant we always had seats going into the city.The home is secluded and we really enjoyed the privacy and appropriateness for our family of all ages. I texted Ulrik a couple times and he responded in a timely fashion. They were gracious and accommodating hosts. Overall, we'd return in a heartbeat and our kids wish we'd do it again. "

"Do not stay here! The pictures are nothing like it is here. It’s like the movie SAW. Also a bunch of men sitting in the dark on the stairs. I did not feel safe staying here. I ended up getting a hotel and paying again. I am trying to get a refund since i did not stay. It the property manager won’t get back to me."

"Wittrup motel was great. Good option for cheaper accommodation near Copenhagen with free parking. I had no car, but public transportation was easy with 123 or 141 bus and i loved being on the green B line, excellent access to everything. Good restaurant on premises, but also try fantastic Turkish restaurant across the street, Mina Etliekmek. Rooms spare but clean and bathrooms modern. "

"This house was the perfect size for our group (10 people). Beautiful grounds and view of the sea from the living areas and master BR. Large kitchen worked well for cooking for a large group. Lovely winter walks on the beach. Easy walking distance to a bus stop which was a short ride to the train station. Excellent service provided by the host."

"The staff at this property were first class and so helpful, and always ready to assist despite it being Christmas when i stayed there. The house itself is very pretty and in a very cosy, pretty traditional Danish rural area in Copenhagen. it was also extremely clean and the bed in my room was unbelievably comfortable, probably the most comfortable bed i’ve ever slept on and i could tell it was memory foam. Very quiet and safe area and again the house itself is very pretty and traditionally Scandinavian with traditional Scandi ornaments decorating it. The toilet and shower were also extremely clean as well as there being a large very clean kitchen area. All in all a wonderful stay and very cosy! Really a good example of hygge vibes!"

All facilities on site, free parking and you can walk into the city centre in 5 minutes. Beautiful old building where there are some rooms and restaurant/bar area. Superb place to relax and unwind."
