"Bungalow had incredible views - the lagoon was breathtaking. Loved being able to snorkel off our deck. Really enjoyed the creperie and watching sting rays and black tip sharks swimming below us as we dined! The rooms were clean and very nice. The exteriors of the bungalows are quite worn and need a refresh but it didn't affect our stay. "

"Great property. Really cool pier with access to deep water. They have lots of kayaks and snorkeling gear. Water is dark and not as clear on this part of the island however. Snorkeling is ok but not like the best part of the island. Traditional style place without luxury but they have everything you need"

"We appreciated the natural setting and the steps to preserve nature and the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching all of the beautiful fish and rays, wow! Loved the beautiful views and water access. We also loved the rustic but elegant vibe of the decor. Every piece looked carefully chosen and fit perfectly. The bed and linens were amazing and comfortable. The waterfront bungalow we stayed in was well equipped for us to make breakfast and snacks. So peaceful!!! A slice of paradise. "

"This place is really special. Has to be the best kept secret on the island. Why would anyone pay 2-3 times more for the Hilton or Sofitel, when this brand new hotel has much newer and better accommodations? The rooms are contemporary, but still maintain a Tahitian vibe Loved having the AC for sleeping, and being able to access Netflix and other streaming services on the TV was a nice feature. "I was a last minute check-in, which was a little problematic, as they had sorry of closed for the evening. I was told that this is their not busy season, but I would still expect an establishment such as that to be open past six. Minor issue with the windows, where I had to close them from outside to avoid mosquitoes. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. If not for those inconveniences I mentioned, I would have given them 5 stars across the board. "

"Super convenient since next to airport and free shuttle. Spacious beds and clean room. Quiet neighbors and site. Friendly host and staff. Loved the access to hot drinking water dispenser, chilled water, communal stove and sink and washer. Internet speed variable throughout day, understandable. Shower faucet was either cold or super hot, with short transition in between, so needed constant adjustment to avoid being scolded, minor. Will absolutely come back again!"

"This is a smal, intimate , boutique hotel. Rooms are smashed but we had a bungalow facing the beach. Gorgeous! Other bungalows face the garden and actually are much cheaper but just as nice. Guests have access to a huge, well furnished living space and patio with a view of the beach. You can also use a state of art kitcnen. "

"We stayed in an over-water bungalow. It was excellent. The property is beautiful and incredibly convenient to the airport, the cruise port, and downtown. The food options are somewhat limited for a resort of this scale. But the food was excellent as was the service. Small nit - the landscape guys out making noise at 7 am. Otherwise a great stay. "

"The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Ari at the front desk was great, and helped us upgrade our room to the best available (at a higher price, which was fine). The BBQ night (Wednesdays) at the restaurant was awesome. I would highly recommend anyone staying on Tahiti to consider Te Moana. It has a good price to quality ratio. And the infinity pool is wonderful. You will not be disappointed."

"This is a very nice hotel and perfect for late night or early morning flights. We had a nice room for 3 people that had two sleeping areas separated a bit, two toilets, and two showers. The staff we met were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful in helping us figure out the ferries. It was clean, the ac worked and we didn’t see any bugs. "

"The house was very spacious and clean… However, the very first hour we discovered some of the largest cockroaches I’ve ever seen. We called the property manager first thing in the morning and she apologized and came right over with some bug spray. Outside the Wi-Fi was inside the house next-door so we had her bring us an additional router and once she did that everything was better…"
