"Fishy smell as lobby checkin is adjacent to their restaurant which is a seafood restaurant. No big deal and the property is quite suitable for the price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Our room is in back and looks over a lot under construction but can also see the cliff with funicular with beach and fort "

"Resort is beautiful and well maintained. Reception was wonderful for check in. Great amenities for all ages. The breakfast at the Clubhouse was one of the highlights! A lot of options and all very tasty. Dinner at the restaurant under the lobby was awful though, extremely slow service, despite being asked to change our reservation to an earlier time for less slow service. Food was mixed, some portions were really small and some were not restaurant quality."

"The hotel was fine. I would not consider it 5 Stars. The service was good. The room was small, it did not feel like we were staying in a Castle. The hotel does not have parking , you park 5 min away and they send a car to pick you up. Pack light, you will have issues with large luggage. The village does not allow anyone to park inside. I would consider spending less money in another hotel nearby. All and all, it was a good experience "

"Fabulous location with ocean view. Clean, well furnished. Would have been nice if 2 of 3 bedrooms had king beds vs just one. The Beachfront resort restaurant was closed the Sunday & Monday of our stay. And the market place wasn’t open late so if you had a late arrival you had few options. Unfortunately the entryway locking mechanism at the front door was bizarrely difficult to open & you had to be careful you didn’t scrape your knuckles when turning the tiny knob. At least 6 coffee pods...

"This small hotel in the center of town, near the bus station was the perfect place for a short stay in Caldas da Rainha. Reception staff were wonderful at checkin and the room was well-maintained and spacious. The breakfast buffet was included with our stay and was quite generous with a selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, toast, juice, and even English breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, and beans. We would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone!"

"The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and really nice. Loved the balcony. The only complaint I have is that the wall separating the bathroom from the room was glass and not private enough. When I opened the light to go to washroom in the middle of the night it lit up part of the room where one of the beds was located waking up my daughter who was sleeping. Just an impractical design."

"I arrived before check-in time but was given a room key without any fuss. Room was of a good standard with fridge and safe and overlooked the beach. I used the fitness room which was basic but sufficient, there were also two pools which I didn’t use. Breakfast was included and was very good value."
