"Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more…"

"Great location. Lovely accommodation, with all bedrooms great size, lounge large and bright, and a massive dining table. Kitchen had everything you could need, and more crocks than seen anywhere else. All very clean and tidy. A very comfortable home from home for a family holiday including toddlers and dogs. Would definitely think about going back. Our first time to the Salcombe area, which we really enjoyed, both Salcombe and the spectacular surrounding coastline and villages."

"Spacious, character, stone built property with a generous garden and sea views. Cool inside during hot weather which was a bonus. Comfortable general areas. Parking for a van plus 2 cars. Quiet location. Steps down to the kitchen are not ideal. Fish pond could be a risk. Suited us very well. A return visit. Highly recommend. So handy for Bantham Beach and for relaxing in the evening."

"Very spacious, well resourced property. Comfortable for a large family gathering and providing a home from home. Disappointing to find that bbqs were not allowed. Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. It's position on the South West Coast path meant access to some lovely walks. We were disappointed to find a large caravan park opposite which wasn't mentioned in the property details and the bin...

"It was an absolutely lovely experience and grate place to stay. The most disappointing thing, esotericism on a holiday advertised for kids, is that you can only get 1 hour slots at the pool per day. Yes the pool is emptier when you're there but 1 hour is just not enough! Plus you have to drive to get anywhere else that's kids friendly. So if that changed my rating would improve."

"There is so much that could be said about this wonderful property. The views are spectacular, the property its self is truly unique and a very special place. "Had a fab stay in bungalow 69 Great location for our holiday plans We went out of school term so it was very quiet too... Very compact inside but it had everything we needed We didnt use the passes that were there or facilities for Hengar manor but a nice option if needed Only improving thing i would suggest is the bungalow number "69" is moved to a more prominent position as its tucked away high and not easy to see above a hugh bush too .. "Three balconies overlooking the estuary provide the best possible opportunity to savour the finest views in Fowey. The property has excellent facilities throughout plus the ability to park on the drive (so very rare in Fowey!) Worth noting that there is an electric blanket for the bottom bedroom used seasonally by the management staff. If you visit in cold weather you may want to ensure this is available - it can get chilly down there!"
