"Very secure, gated property with beach access. Very friendly and helpful staff (family) did everything they could to make our short stay perfect. The rooms are big, bright and well equipped. Very comfortable bed.

"Oh what a find! This hotel exceeded expectations and it is even more lovely than the pictures! The lighting and setting is upscale and everything is done top notch. I highly recommend this hotel—it is within walking distance to the ruins, even for seniors 7 min. I could have stayed much longer..better than many 4 and 5 stars! Staff nice."

"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. "We enjoyed staying at the hotel and the pool is very nice. However at the restaurant the waiter overcharged us and the hotel refused to adjust the bill later. Be very careful ordering any antipasto. Even if they give you a small serving of cheese as they did in our case you still might be charged 48 Euro instead 12. There were only three people in our party but somehow we were charged for four cheese antipasti. Honest mistake or not the hotel should have corrected it"
"Historic 19th century manor modernized approximately for a lovely stay. War the museum and archeological site, yet away from the busy entrance cares. A wonderful restaurant that one needs to reserve for an exclusive chef directed dinner. Novel and well prepared. With special touches that Chef Luigi creates. Other excellent restaurants and bistros in walking distance. This boutique hotel is best for adults, but children would be fine —just not at the restaurant. Fresh fruit and chef-baked bread are part of the buffet breakfast as is home made cheeses and condiments. A great place to be after a day walking among ancient ruins and elegant temples."

"We were initially super excited to come to this hotel after seeing pics and it’s high ratings but when we arrived we noticed immediately that we were a burden. The staff was not as friendly as the other hotels and even though we were the only ones there (slow tourist season) every time I asked for something I was made to feel like I was bothering them despite the fact that I speak and am Italian. The biggest issue we had was the air conditioning and the shower drain. We completely understand that some hotels control the A/C and we absolutely understand that when they are fully booked they usually cannot accomodate but it was super annoying that even with few people staying the night and after asking for them to lower the temp in our room (they said they would and they didn’t!) it ended up being so hot and to add to our discomfort the window wouldn’t open. Just made for a miserable night. We went to the restaurant and it was literally a ghost town. We were the only two people there which is no fault of their own. Despite this, the food was delicious and restaurant staff were professional. The room itself was gorgeous but the shower drain was clogged and you had to shut off the shower mid way through or else it would spill into the bathroom floor. Parking was super convenient and the hotel is super close to the Greek ruins in Paestum. Overall average but wouldn’t come back again. "
