"This property is described as 10min. from the beach. Definitely not walking time and driving is a challenge since there is no parking and streets are unmarked and difficult to maneuver. Our taxi driver couldn't even find it and let us off as we roamed the streets with our suitcases. Luckily we stumbled upon it. Water smelled strongly of sulfur."

The local council had closed all private pools 2 months earlier due to drought, which the owner only advised us day before arrival. We negotiated a 20 per cent refund. "The mountain villa is spread over 3 floors so has plenty of space. The villa is lovely and bright and makes the most of the amazing view. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The outside space is fantastic and everything is so well maintained. Carlos, our host was so welcoming and was on hand for anything we needed. It was an absolute pleasure to spend our family Christmas here, thank you for everything Carlos! "
