"We stayed in Mary’s Room (as my wife is named Mary!). It was perfect! Richard and David were excellent hosts. Very accommodating and gave us a warm welcome and send off. "My grandparents owned a Lustron home, so staying here was like revisiting fond childhood memories. Back then, the home didn't seem so unusual; now it's definitely a post-war time capsule. The original features are in very good condition and the home is spotlessly clean. Everything was as described, very comfortable and in good working order. Appreciated the snacks in the kitchen. "

"Pretty unique property in a calming remote area with rolling hills & wildlife. It looks to have some renovations taking place and could use more. Maybe the time of the year in the country or not knowing when the unit was occupied last…lots dead flies on the ground & many more in the bead rooms flying around?!?! However the value of the rental for number of people it can sleep is good vs the cost! The hosts were very responsive!"

"This house was great! We were down to visit my son at Winona State University for the weekend. Fountain City was the perfect cute little river town and it was a short drive away. The house was cozy, clean, quiet, and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and the host is very accomodating and always seeking to improve, which shows great character.
