"Lovely position overlooking Porthtowan and south west along the coast to Carbis Bay and St Ives. Close to the coastal path providing beautiful walks to many tin mines along the heritage coast trails. Perfect getaway whatever the weather. Very comfortable and showers were excellent "

"Fair out of season stay... On arrival at the front of the hotel it looked closed as it had no outside lighting, not even the hotel sign was lit, some might have been concerned, even walked away, given the untidy, distressed look to the hotel which is somewhat dire. The hotel’s location proved to be wonderfully convenient for the town centre, local public transport connections and all the other amenities this seaside town had to offer. Great local hotel close to the hospital

"I stayed here with a group of colleagues on a multi-day business trip and really enjoyed the stay. We staff and the service was excellent. We ate in for supper on both nights as it was convenient and the food was great. Breakfast was very good with the best bacon I have tasted in ages - I can recommend the full Cornish or the bacon bap - heaven!"

Beautiful coastal retreat

"I was looking for an off season retreat where I could relax and be looked after. Greenbank was perfect for this. The hotel delivers comfort with excellent, friendly service and delicious food. My room was clean, comfortable and provided all the amenities I needed. Locally sourced refreshments are provided and toiletries that promote relaxation. Situated close to the town it is possible to access all that Falmouth has to offer by foot, although the return does invoke an uphill walk. If you enjoy walking this is an excellent place to visit as off season you can still take a ferry to the Roseland peninsula and enjoy good walking there too. Falmouth has an excellent variety of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Greenbank has an award winning restaurant with river views and food that is very satisfying after a day out exploring. All the staff are friendly and helpful and every effort is made to ensure that you have the best experience possible. I look forward to being able to return here again. "
