The best hotel we stayed at in Europe. The views alone could give this hotel 5 stars, but the room was clean and nice as well. Check in was easy and the bus stop was not too far away. Although, you should be warned the first walk up with your luggage can be a bit of a battle, but we took plenty of stops to take in the view anyways.

Absolutely gorgeous stay. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms and premises. I read reviews before I booked it but no one mentioned how stunning the view is from the hotel. I believe every room has the same view. The only complaint I could have is proximity to church- the bell tolls every 15 min (except between midnight and 6 am) so it’s hard to sleep.

Check-in with the machine can be a bit tricky but help-line is always very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. Decent bathroom. You should spend time in the balcony…. The view of the valley and mountains is literally breathtaking. You can use your Swiss Travel Pass for most of the bus route. Public bus service is as useful as in Switzerland.

Nowhere is cheap in Lichtenstein and Hotel Oberland does offer good value compared to many others. The self service check in was easy to follow. The room was compact but had a balcony with amazing views over the valley and Swiss mountains. It was noisy though with the windows open fire to the road outside and the church. Breakfast was good and included in the price.
