Left disappointed by black mould in the shower, and perplexed owners who offered no compensation and then called the police on me for complaining and refusing to settle EUR40 in response to this. Other guests complained about not being given enough towels and being asked to pay in cash. Seychelles has been hardly hit by post Covid lack of tourism, and we felt it at this property....

"There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position.
