"Quite remote and very calm and serene. Excellent place to see the Northern Lights if the weather is clear. If Northern Lights is your goal then you probably should stay in Tromso City and book a van tour that drives you around to the best location for viewing depending on the conditions."

"The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. However, given the price it lacked amenities you would normally expect such as tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Although out of town, the bus is regular from across the street and there are a fee shops and takeaways next door. The airport shuttle didnt turn up for me or my friend who were departing at different time so I would recommend the five minute walk to the bus station where buses to the airport...

"We stayed in a family room of 4. Room was small but sufficient and warm. Bunk bed was comfortable and sturdy enough so top bunk did not shake when bottom bunk moved. Hotel was very conveniently located, very easy to get to/from Airport using 42 public bus. Also about a 3-5 minute walk from all the pick up spots for our excursions. Breakfast was delicious."

"The property was clean and spacious. The room (Superior Room) wasn’t huge but was a good size and it had a great view into the harbour. The location was great as it was secluded enough, but within walking distance to the rest of the city. Check-in was very easy, although there is a charge if you want to check-in before 2pm (only about £15).
