"Belle Mare is well run with lots of staff to assist. Beach and pools are well maintained. Golf is excellent and easily available - free for residents which is great for 18 holes whenever and twilight 9 holes. Definitely will come back. "

"We recently stayed at Le Méridien for our honeymoon, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. The moment we walked into the resort, we were greeted with a breathtaking ocean view from the reception area, an absolutely stunning way to start our stay. The resort itself is meticulously clean and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The all-inclusive package is a must; it allowed us to relax completely without worrying about additional expenses. The location is also ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions. One of the highlights of our trip was renting the jetty for a private dinner. The food prepared by the private chef was simply incredible, but what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service from our two private waiters. They were not only attentive and professional but also willing to capture special moments for us, taking beautiful photos that we’ll cherish forever. The spa was another high point of our visit, with excellent service that left us feeling completely rejuvenated. While the overall experience was fantastic, we did notice that poolside service could be a bit slow during the day. Additionally, while some staff members were phenomenal, going above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, others were a bit less attentive. Overall, Le Méridien was an incredible choice for our honeymoon."

"What can I say, i do not usually write reviews but i had to for this one, i booked a really expensive 5* hotel in Mauritius using the Hotel.com app and our experience was so bad we was left stranded at the middle of the night. Luckily this hotel was free and taken us in, now i was on my honeymoon and it was a disaster from the start but the manager at this property was a ray of sunshine. His name was Ashley - he was understanding, caring and went that extra mile to make our stay great. I could not thank him enough. He upgraded us to a honeymoon suite and helped us book a car rental - he made sure we had one. He was literally a gem! i cannot express how attentive and nice the staff was, they was all so lovely. From having a disaster of a time to then coming here was amazing. you made our holiday special thank you!"
