"I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room for the price. It was rather worn. Additionally the air conditioning was not strong and could not be adjusted with a thermostat. Probably the worst thing was that even though it was a non-smoking room there was a faint smell of stale smoke and part of the carpet had a very bad smell too."

"It was a very busy time, lots of people checking in. Despite that, all staff very helpful and accommodating to foreign travellers. Hotel close to boulevard with many restaurants and coffee shops. Fabulous buffet breakfast. Loved walking around in Japanese style PJ’s. Highly recommend!"

"I came during the Winter Festival, and it's conveniently close to Asahikawa Station and the ice sculpture street. However, I had trouble finding the place at first, and I even entered a different Hotel Route-Inn nearby by mistake. After finding the right place and entering the room, I found the luggage rack already open and in the middle of the narrow corridor so I had difficulty entering the room with my suitcase. "The hotel was very convenient.If you arrive early the hotel will hold your luggage. The room was very spacious compared to Japanese standards. The room was clean. The Japanese breakfast had many items to choose from. If you’re not going around in a car this hotel is great and before the hotel from the station, the tourist information office is there. Convenient hotel with large rooms near transport

"Great hotel near the Asahikawa Station and the Aeon Mall, which was convenient for the Asahikawa Snow Festival (or would have been if I hadn't booked the week before the festival :-) ). The hotel is also, extremely conveniently, in front of a bus stop that comes straight from the airport. Simply stay on the bus until the stop after the station and step into the hotel. For Japan, the size of the twin room is _massive!_ Plenty of room for luggage, clothes storage, and potentially cricket practice (please don't play cricket in your hotel room :-) ). The raised bathroom is, however, the standard 'small' size for a Japanese hotel room, but is perfectly servicable. There's plenty of food options nearby with the main shopping street only a block away (which leads off from the train station), and the Aeon Mall's food court and restaurants are a five minute walk away."
