Delightful 1 Bedroom RV Near Ft. Eustis
10/10 Excellent
"Quiet, have the whole plece to myself. I feel safe since I am in a yard in someone's home. Light's come on when there is movement around the home. The RV is clean, spacious. It is nice and cool since it's pretty hot outside. Great shower, water stays warm. There wasn't any cooking supplies or pots/pans. The oven/stove is not turned on but the microwave and refrigerator are working well."
"Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here."
"Space is important when you are having a wedding, but its also nice to have something to do while you are at your home base waiting for the next event. Perfect for the grooms men to get ready for a wedding at Keffer Hall."
Spacious 4-bedroom house with pool in quiet Newport News neighborhood
10/10 Excellent
"The space was awesome. We were 3 couples, 1 of the couples, our 23 yr old kids. Also dog friendly. Split plain and basically 2 master suites. Never felt crowded. Very nice neighborhood. The host was very nice. I suspect the next time we stay it will be even better. Look forward to our next visit. New listing and I think trying to get the hang of things. Thanks for a great place to spend the holiday with family. things. "
Spacious 7-bedroom house in brilliant Newport News with AC, WiFi
10/10 Excellent
"The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The photos do not do the house justice.
House step up: Four out of the seven bedrooms had their own bathroom. Each bedroom had a queen bed except the larger room that had 2 queen beds and a crib. Each room had a house size closet with a few hangers. There is a washer and dryer upstairs in the hallway.
Location: the house is right off and busy bypass. The noise was not too bad. The house sits on a lot with another smaller house that I believe is also a short term rental. There is a large amount of grass and a small playground for the children to play. The large porch was perfect for the aunts and uncles to congregate.
The house is 15 minutes from Bush Gardens and Water Country. Greatwolf lodge, Bollowerro and the Premier Outllets were within 20 minutes of the house.
There is a Dunkin, Dollar Tree and gas station a couple blocks from the house. A Foodlion is about 5 blocks away. It’s not a neighborhood you can take a stroll in because there isn’t much scenery and sidewalks. They are building townhome next to the houses so there may be more development.
Clean: extremely clean! I manage a corporate hotel chain and I was impressed by the cleanliness of this location.
Supplies: the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and garbage disposal. There were some small trash bags under the sink. The house came with pots and pans. The house had a great amount of silverware and dishes. The cooking utensils looked new. Perfect Stay!
