"Wanted to try an older hotel. Solo traveling was ok with wine provided by Expedia. However could hear some noise from higher floor, people walking by corridor. Sufficient for one traveling on budget. Room and bed was nice. Hotel door is locked all times so felt safe. Good close by garage parking for $45 instead of valet at $70! "

"Great location, nice and clean rooms equipped with the usual facilities. There was no coffee machine in my room (not sure about other rooms), but the main lobby has coffee and tea in the morning. I needed hot water, and when I asked for it, they promptly sent a kettle to my room. Location is great, close to lots of restaurants, Market St. and BART. Will definitely come back again. "
