"This was a lovely hotel in Kandersteg. This is located beside the gondola station and the walking path for the hike to lake. There was a nice restaurant at the hotel that we had a great dinner at and the breakfast was very enjoyable. My family really enjoyed staying here and we would come back again!"

"We stayed for two nights at Eden. Very nice and clean hotel. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast are amazing, the best one we had for our 2 weeks trip at Switzerland. Spiez is beautiful, we love this hotel and Spiez. "

"Excellent breakfast. Beautiful location. The view from the breakfast hall looking down on the castle/town is wonderful. Bus 65 stop Spiez Grueb is about 3 minutes walk from hotel. It takes approximately 10 minutes to and from the bahnhof in Spiez. The selection of music channels on the tv is great."

"It was a pleasure to stay once again in this superb hotel. Very traditional with an excelent service, bar and restaurants. The spa is magnificent with an indoor pool and a heated area outside. Free shuttle service to Gstaad including from and to the train station."

"I was a bit uneasy about the "no-front desk" feature because we had 2 rooms and the online check-in was somewhat glitchy. Upon arrival, we were greeted and all was straightened out with ease. This property is a no-thrills, barebones, geared for the younger crowd. The rooms are very plain, no desk, no chairs. Just beds and bathroom. The upper floors mountain view rooms are simply spectacular, featuring massive wall-to-wall windows. Amazing to wake up to incredible scenery. Convenient...

"The staff made this hotel, the reception staff were always lovely. Great room, kettle, mini bar, etc and the pool/sauna was an added bonus. No parking but everything is so compact that it’s nearby to walk. Comfy duvets! "

"Nice location (only about 30 min drive to Interlaken) with spectacular views from our room. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We drove and needed parking which wasn't a problem here. My only complaint was that the bed wasn't the most comfortable and wish there were more options. Besides that, this was an excellent stay that I would highly recommend to anyone! "

"The hotel was excellent. We had a Lakeview room. The bathroom did have an odd smell of sewer, but we didn’t care, The area around the pool was under construction, but we did use it. I’m sure it’ll be nice once it’s done."

"Lovely property and great staff. There is a bus stop near by and they also help shuttle you to the Gstaad train stop. They have a lot of small touches that you don’t find often these days (like in room breakfast option, water and nuts upon arrival. Would stay again for sure! "

"The Hotel Oberland was the perfect place to stay in Lauterbrunnen. We stayed here on the recommendation of Rick Steves and it was perfect for our three days. We stayed across the street in like a mini apartment down the steps towards the back of the building. We had plenty of space with 2 beds, a kitchenette, stove top, microwave and refrigerator. The Coop grocery was a 5 minute walk down the road if we needed anything. The room was extremely clean, warm and plenty of space to move around. The women at the reception desk, especially Milka and Sundra were great. They spoke English very well and were helpful with any question we had about transportation and recommendations on what to eat or how we should spend some of our days in the city. They were both amazing. It was extremely helpful that our hotel had breakfast everyday for all the guests. They had a selection of fruit, cold meats and cheeses, hard boiled eggs, a delicious bread assortment, cereals, porridge and an amazing coffee maker. I would stay here again if I was in the area. You are close to the bus station and a nice 40 minute easy walk to Trummelbach Falls and right down the street from Staubbach Falls. You are truly right in the middle of everything and you can hear the bells from the cows which is such a serene experience in itself."

"This property is the iconic Swiss hotel with friendly staff and spectacular views. Our room was on the lowest floor but still had a Mountain View. However, it shared a public terrace instead of a private terrace, which was the case of the upper floors. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much. "
