"Fantastic little cabin...real cold weekend, but cabin was perfectly weatherized and warm. Special thanks to host for helping with the luggage sled and for blowing the snow off the paths (14.5 inches). Will definitely consider another Summer/Fall run up there to experience more of what the Saranac Lake Community has to offer! "

Mattresses were too soft, comforters need cleaning, oven takes too long to preheat, hot tub not filled sufficiently and no hose to add water, faucets drip. The location could not be better. The house was completely decorated beautifully for the holiday. We would definitely like to return. "

Even the two adult men that had to share the small cabin had no complaints. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for us to recover our exhausted bodies from full day of shredding the mountain. The foosball table was a hit. The large dinner table fit our whole crew. The heated floors were a delightful surprise and perfect for drying our wet gear on over night. We had a ton of snow overnight and we woke up to our driveway plowed! "

"If you like a room that smells humid and like an old cigarette, this is a place for you. The room hasn’t been upgraded in a generation and the shower had water damage and black mold on the ceiling. The pool and hottub were shut down, and looked like they had been for a while. Of course they didn’t provide notice of any of this, especially to a family coming up to enjoy skiing, and all the outdoor activities the Lake Placid area has to offer, and would love nothing else but to soak in a hot tub afterwards. After all, that’s one of the things we punched in the search criteria. Spend your money someplace else. You get what you pay for and I learned the hard way on this place."
