"Hotspring was very nice. I didnt stay due to the skiing aspect. But they are well equipped for it. Great quality of food for their breakfast and supper buffets. The staff were very kind even though i dont speak a lot of japanese. "

"The room was on the top floor overlooking the lake but the trees blocked most of the view. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. It would have been good to have smaller pillows available in the room. I ended up rolling up a towel to make a smaller pillow. Meals were included in the stay and there was plenty of variety. Only real bummer is that I think I left my Prescription Progressive Glasses in the room and can't get anyone to pick up the phones & check!"

"Exceeded expectations. I wish I got the name of the kind woman who helped us check in and talked with us during our stay. We appreciated her help. Loved the Onsen, loved that we could cook our own dinner, the hikes, went for a run. This is one of our favourite places and we would highly recommend. "Had had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. One of our group members had left behind his bag in a remote restaurant prior to his arrival and with the great assistance of the hotel staff, we managed eventually to confirm that the bag had been sent to a police station. The staff, who didn’t speak good English , had been very patient in understanding my Japanese of limited proficiency , and had the matter sorted out to our great satisfaction."
