"Hotel le St Geniès is a pleasant property for a quick stop while on a drive in the South of France!"

"Lovely motel-style hotel. Small rooms but very clean and comfortable. One drawback is that the bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn't cover the doorway completely, so there is no real privacy in the bathroom. The food was not great and the service was very slow. They did compensate us for the problem with their service."

"Incredibly beautiful place in an unexpected discovery that we were staying in an ancient fortress of an ancient city. Could not ask for more in such conditions, where everything was ancient in the city but everything in the hotel was modern. Small room, but incredibly quaint, and the bathroom was glorious, shower was incredible, water pressure and temperature perfect. "Un endroit magnifique pour passer des vacances dans un mas avec un parc arboré où il fait bon passer du temps. La piscine de 12m est juste top pour s’amuser et nager pour les amateurs de natation. La cuisine d’été donne l’impression d’être dans les îles. Tout est propice pour passer de bonnes vacances. Une dédicace spéciale pour les hôtes, Florence et Patrick. An easy walk into Uzes where there's a terrific variety of restaurants (though best to book in advance on a weekend). Breakfast is both delicious and generous and served on a wonderful ancient terrace when the weather is fine. "Herve is a great guy and speaks enough English if you dont speak French. He may offer you a glass of Rose if he's on the property. The common space for breakfast is always open if you wish to relax. Our son stayed in the upstairs loft that has a private toilet. We did not use the pool but other guests did. If there is something you made like a phone charger or extra pillow - just ask Herve."

The owners are very accommodating and welcoming and would have no hesitation in recommending this to others who will appreciate the peace and quiet this property offers"
