"Our room was tastefully appointed, and we have zero complaints. The staff was extremely professional and kind. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable. Highly recommend my only disappointment is that the beautiful European aesthetic was updated to be very modern. Most probably like that. I would’ve rather seen the old world Appointments to the lobby and felt that the contemporary light fixtures and art were pretentious and not in keeping with the old European Switzerland delight. "

"Hotel and room were well-appointed, tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. The main beds were very comfortable; the sofa bed much less so. The free local buses and hotel shuttle make it easy to get to the two shopping centres (Lionshead and Vail Village). Breakfast is very good. Noise is the only downside of this hotel: footsteps, banging and music were audible throughout the night from the room above ours, while the highway traffic noise rather spoils the hot tub and balcony areas. Still, we enjoyed our stay."

"It’s funny, the hotel is old. Was undergoing some renovations, some things in our room were showing their age… but the hotel was still excellent. The room was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities. Great bed. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Beautiful view of the mountains and sunset from our balcony. I really loved this hotel. Also it’s right in the heart of Vail Village which was wonderful. Even with a little wear and tear… the property and staff still had a fancy / special / high level of service vibe. Great stay!"

"The Sitzmark was the perfect place to stay in Vail, and I was very impressed with our experience there. They have the friendliest front desk staff who were super helpful and kind. Parking was super convenient right below the hotel. We loved the location in Vail Village and easy walkability to everywhere we wanted to go. Delicious fresh baked cookies every afternoon, and a beautiful European style breakfast that was complimentary each morning. The rooms were clean and modern, and the patio views of the of the creek were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will definitely be returning to stay here in the future!"
