"Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. "The hotel and staff were quite lovely during our stay. Unfortunately, we went during the low season and I definitely do not recommend doing that. There wasn't much to do in the surrounding area but that isn't really the hotel's fault. The one thing I will say that was not satisfactory at the property was the breakfast. For £35, I expected at least a little bit better of an offering from the buffet. Everything was quite stale and not many options. We elected to purchase the avocado toast which seemed more like an avocado spread than actual avocados (Avocados seem difficult to get in this region of the world as I have not had great luck in Europe in general finding fresh avocados like you can in the US). Other than that, I highly recommend the property as the rooms were extremely clean, very large, and the design is quite cool. It looks much better in person than it does in photos for some reason. Also, the staff was so friendly as you come to expect when visiting Portugal, it's just a totally different vibe from the people in the US and other parts of Europe. "

"I saw a post about this Tivoli on Instagram and immediately fell in love with it! The hotel and resort is everything I hoped it would be and more! Amazingly clean, fresh, with gorgeous Algarve (Carvoeiro) cliff and ocean views 😍 I had an ocean facing room and loved waking up to the warm sunshine every day. Staff were lovely also! I stayed over New Year’s Eve and they had the most beautiful fireworks 🎇 Highly recommend! It’s exactly what I needed to recharge my batteries. "
