The Agriturismo Dea takes its name from "Villa Dea", the ancient residence of the Vagni family who owns the farmhouse and the agricultural company cultivated with olive groves, arable land and woods.
Located near the castle of Giomici, in the center of the area between Perugia Assisi and Gubbio, at an altitude of 500 m and surrounded by a marvelous panorama, it enjoys absolute peace and offers relaxing holidays.

Wonderful location near castle
We (3 adults) spent 4 lovely days in Francescana I. The apartment is very classy, clean and comfortable. All supplies are provivded. Moreover, the location of the apartment, close to a castle, is spectacular. Anna-Maria is very kind and helpful. All in all, a great place to stay if you would like to discover beautiful Umbria.

Relaxing peaceful escape
Our whole family loved our week at Agroturisme Dea. It was traditional and clean. Great location for exploring Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio. The owner Anna and her family were lovely and friendly with plenty of advice if required, and the homemade cookies were a huge hit! The pool was lovely and our daughters loved spending time in it every day. Only downside was limited comfortable space to relax in the apartment for all five of us with only one 2 seater sofa.

Tutto ok, tranne non aver trovato neanche una bottiglia d'acqua arrivando di sera ed essendo il posto lontano dal paese e da negozi x procurarsi il necessario x improvvisare una colazione. Grande chiasso al mattino alle 8 dalla residenza dei proprietari da parte degli addetti alle pulizie e assenza totale di un addetto in piscina. Per il resto posto molto bello, tranquillo, appartamento grande e pulito.

Gradevolissimo e rilassante soggiorno alla Francescana
Siamo stati una settimana alla Francescana I. L'appartamento è grande, accogliente e freschissimo, in cucina non manca nulla, ci è stato consegnato molto pulito. La signora Anna Maria è gentilissima e molto disponibile, mai invadente. La zona è splendida: colline verdi e una pace che sembra di essere fuori dal mondo, ma è anche un comodo punto di partenza per visitare tutta l'Umbria.

Wunderschön und äußerst gastfreundlich!
Wir wohnten mit unseren drei Kindern insgesamt zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Agriturismo, das von Stil, räumlicher Großzügigkeit und persönlicher Zuwendung geprägt ist. Anna Maria ist eine großartige Gastgeberin - respektvoll zugewandt, klug und immer hilfsbereit. Wir bewohnten je eine Woche die Apartments Lucertola und Francescana II. Beide Wohnungen haben ihren ganz eigenen Charme, sind äußerst großzügig geschnitten, sauber, mit alten Stilmöbeln eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Wifi und Fernsehen sucht man vergeblich - was gut ist für diesen Ort, der von Ruhe und Natur geprägt ist. In dem großen Garten findet jeder seinen eigenen Platz; der große, saubere und sehr schön gelegene Gemeinschaftspool bietet Gelegenheit, sich zu treffen. Der Weg zum Meer ist sehr weit, dafür liegen Kulturstädte wie Perugia, Assisi etc. in halbstündiger Entfernung. Ebenso nahe sind große Naturparks sowie der Lago Trasimeno. Fußläufig befindet sich ein großer Reitstall, der Unterricht und Ausritte anbietet. Das ganze Anwesen liegt auf einem Hügel, was den Gästen wunderschöne Ausblicke in die umliegenden Täler beschert. Insgesamt ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Christoph und Franziska

Verdi colline a due passi dai luoghi d'arte
Abbiamo alloggiato 6 giorni nell'appartamento Francescana I. L'appartamento è grande, accogliente, fresco, arredato con gusto e pulitissimo. La cucina è molto attrezzata, in sala c'è un grande camino e i letti sono comodi. La Francescana si trova sulle verdi colline di Giomici, in un luogo immerso nella quiete ma a due passi dai luoghi d'arte di quella bellissima regione che è l'Umbria. La proprietaria è molto cortese e mai invadente. Non c'è il wifi, ma la copertura della rete è discreta.

Historic Appartment with characteristic funiture.
We are in the Appartment Francisca. It is in the first floor and you can sit outsite in the Garden. It is an big Appartment with 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. Very nice and clean. I love the big kitchen with al you need to cook for yourself if you want. Anna Maria is very nice and take care for everything. Also the swimmingpool is very nice. Perugia is a great old City, not special touristical, but old and with nice places to visit. We go tree times, but it is to short. We are missing the Wifi, but can used it some and were. Umbria is very nice, also the surroundings.

Peaceful location
A very good stay stay for 11 days in one of the appartments (Francescana I). We found the appartment quite a bit larger than revealed by the pictures on the internet. It is located in a green setting peacefully in the Umbrian countryside. Nearby villages are available for example for shopping groceries items. The pool is located a small walking distance from the appartment and has a suitable depth for kids also. The owner Maria was very friendly and very very helpful. We can highly recommend a stay.

Beautiful Mountain Setting
We spent a nice holiday in very spacious accommodation. Our landlady, Anna, could not have been more helpful. Not only did Anna speak fluent English, but she went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. Giving address details and directions to local restaurants and places of interest, providing a hiking map of the local area, as well as accommodating our extremely late arrival time on the first day. The large swimming pool, a 2 minutes walk away from our apartment, was surrounded by lush greenery, providing very calm surroundings. We made frequent use of the tabletennis table near the pool area, for which we had brought our own bats and ball. We had the very large walled sitting area in front of our accommodation, which was overlooked by other apartments, to ourselves. Despite the lack of a view, we enjoyed BBQ’s and al fresco eating, weather permitting.

"Propre et spacieux, dans un environnment champêtre et très calme, l'appartement Francescana II convient parfaitement pour une famille de 4 à 5 (voire 6) personnes. Anna-Mar;ia est très accueillante et parle français beaucoup mieux qu'elle ne le prétend. Seuls bémols : couchage assez durs, jardin privatif peu utilisable, isolation phonique faible entre les appartements"

Wunderschöne, saubere, ru...
Wunderschöne, saubere, ruhige, komplett ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit, und die Hauseigentümerin half bei allen Fragen gerne, incl. sehr gute Beschreibung für die Anfahrt und gute Tipps für Tagesausflüge und Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Ein schöner, sauberer Swimmingpool lud zum Abkühlen ein und last but not least war da die wunderschöne Umgebung, die sich in sternenklaren Nächten in einen verzauberten Garten verwandelte. Wir können auch den Wein aus eigenem Anbau sehr empfehlen und werden ganz bestimmt zurückkommen!
