"My biggest regret for our trip to Crete was only staying one night at La Maison Ottaman. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and designed, and incredibly comfortable. The location and size ( only 3 rooms total!) of the hotel meant it was peaceful and quiet while still being minutes from the center of Old Town. "For the price paid the accommodation was very good, clean and larger than a Parisian hotel room. Towels were enough including the beach towel. The view is superb from the table in front of the door. The only miss was the coffe for the provided machine but the girl at the reception was helpful and the problem was solved."

"This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"

"This property is elegantly beautiful. The staff was exceptional especially Elena who runs the front desk. She seems to work around the clock and she is the most friendly, gracious & most accommodating to all of her guests. Me and my husband felt like we were her only guests by the way she attended to us.
