"We had a great time at the beach. It was beautiful and I would go back to the area just for that. Generally Cuba is beautiful and the people were very friendly. In Veradero itself we did run into a scammy horse cart driver who told us 10 cuc for a 3 km ride to a market and then tried to charge 10 each for 5 of us. We settled on 30 but it was not a nice situation. The resort staff were wonderful and the food was ok. The people work with what they have and are incredible! The entertainment...
