"I never got to stay here, as it turned out that not only do they not have any front desk later in the evening, but they were also absolutely unwilling to do anything to help after I realized that my flight was arriving late and there would be no way for me to check in. Hidden treasure

"The hotel was clean and helpful. They gave us a tour at no additional charge and even kept our luggage safe for us after we had checked out. The only issue I had was the hairdryer didn't work. Other than that, I would say it was an excellent stay!"

"We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Montecarlo. Location is perfect. Literally a minute walk from the hotel and you are in St Marks Square. Very close to the sights of Venice and the water bus stop is less than 10 minutes away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. A nice touch was the afternoon tea which was all included as well as the breakfast. A good selection for all tastes. The hotel building is full of character in keeping with the city. The room was comfortable and charming. We would definitely stay here again. "
