"We absolutely loved this property. It’s beautiful. We stayed in a Junior suite with large balcony overlooking some of the pools (there are a lot of pools with varying degrees of heat.) The staff was helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel at home! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Everything was perfect! "We stayed at the Insula for just a night. They allowed us to stay and use the pool and facilities at the boutique hotel the next day and looked after our luggage whilst we enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very helpful with our Italian, and spoke good English to help us with our requests. We would very much stay here again, only for longer! Thank you again!"
"Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port."
"We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo! This family-run, charming hotel has the most beautiful view imaginable. We loved the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, amazing pools, and nearby Sorgeto Beach. Pietro and Umberto were incredibly helpful with planning our day, restaurant and beach recommendations, and lifts to town. We cannot wait to return one day to the island of Ischia and especially to this beautiful sport."
"It was only a 10 minute level walk to the ferry port. Room was very nice with a balcony facing the sea. We had many food options nearby and the historical areas were just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good, served on a terrace overlooking the sea. I highly recommend but if you have trouble with stairs, it is a 3 flight walk up to the room."

"Room was comfortable and clean. We had a great terrace with a table and a view of the castle and water. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the AC was great for the hot weather. The daily breakfast was also great.
The pools are fantastic, we spent most days hanging by the pool swimming. Sometimes taking the short walk to the nearby public beach for a quick swim also. The pool bar/restaurant was great for lunch also. Location was great, walkable to both the port area and castle area.
Would definitely look to stay here again the next time we are in the area."
"The pools were lovely and we appreciated being able to leave our luggage and enjoy the pools while waiting for our ferry after check out. Supper in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was amazing! I’ll be back for a longer stay!"
"Excelsior Belvedere was an amazing place to stay! We would definitely go back again. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, very nice amenities, and excellent service. Even the staff working around the grounds was friendly and helpful, from the hosts that show you around the hotel and gardens to those working to keep the grounds clean and functional, like Michele, who made sure we had umbrella shade and great pool side service. What a relaxing and peaceful place. Also conveniently located to shopping/restaurant areas, the port, and even a little puppet theatre on the way to the port. Magical stay!"
