"My husband and I booked this place for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place perfectly matched the listing and provided all the amenities that we needed for a weekend. The beach was beautiful and quiet. It felt like a private beach complete with beautiful sunsets. We especially enjoyed the patio with a variety of seating options and a gas fire pit. "This is a very cute place, very close to 2nd street and a ten minute walk to the beach. My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend visiting family. It is very cute and clean. Only a few issues - but they were addresed quickly. It was an “excessive heat warning” all weekend and the portable AC unit was ok but definitely took a day to cool things off. We lost power Sunday morning and the instructions were incorrect for the breaker box because the la el had fallen off the outside unit. However...

"Great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and ferry. The unit was upstairs. It was cozy, all the amenities we needed were there. Window AC was ok,it was loud. We kept windows open to let breeze in which meant curtains also had to be open so there was no privacy. The shower in bathroom had a low pressure and the toilet bowl at times didnt flush properly. There was a little note by the toilet bowl handle that said the handle when water is running. It was kind of annoying. "

"This beautifully renovated and creatively decorated home was the perfect home base for a 5 day visit to LB. The unit is so welcoming and comfortable, and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. So much so, we would have been happy to have just “stayed home” for the entire stay. But the beach, bay, and fun neighborhood shops and restaurants prompted many outings. Mike was so kind and quick to respond, and offered up spot-on recommendations. "We love this property because we love going to the beach near the lifeguard towers along the "40 streets" away from the craziness near the pier. Each morning we would walk to Doughboys for a donut (or two or three), then later in the morning to Banzai Bowls, and for lunch we'd walk to Sanchos for fish tacos. It's like my 17 year old daughter said, "it takes awhile to walk to some of the places but it takes longer to find parking". And like my 23 year old daughter said, "it's just perfect". ...
