A cute boutique hotel in a great location. The hotel felt a bit old, but the decor is chic and the staff was friendly. Parking was a pain during the day but once foot traffic died down you could find plenty of free street parking until 9 AM the next morning. My only complaint is that they gave me a room on thy 2nd floor, which was immediately above street level overlooking the hustle and bustle. I could hear the bars in my ears while trying to sleep.

Great option for when staying in Reykjavik. The staff were very helpful and friendly and went above and beyond. The amenities are super clean and comfortable including the room and the lobby/ restaurants. We loveeed the spa!

One of my favorite homes away from home!
"Pretty riverside views and a huge and fortifying breakfast are my favorite parts. I come to Iceland almost every year and it always includes a stay at Hotel Selfoss. And the water pressure is superb!"
