"Well. This is definitely not glamping. We paid €60 to sleep in a Fyre Festival style container. The staff was nice enough. But after paying all that money for a crappy little basic container they wouldn't provide us with toilet paper... they make you pay €4 for it. I've never even been to a proper campground without toilet paper, let alone a place that we paid €60 for. Also, they advertise a pool. There is no pool. "Le Macine is a really lovely place to stay. The villa is large, with 3 evenly sized bedrooms, 2 fully equipped bathrooms and plenty of social entertaining space. The air conditioning was very effective and welcome and Wi-Fi good. Outdoors, there is a substantial garden and the pool itself is large for a villa - have been to hotels with smaller pools! "At the end of a typically long gravel Tuscany road (this one is in good condition, btw) you will find a quiet, snug cottage in a great location for touring around Tuscany. Laundry availability was much appreciated on our multi-stop trip, they even had an iron for air dried or suitcase wrinkled items. The views… like a postcard! "
