View from the house is beautiful especially sunrise in the morning. Walking distance to Hilo downtown. Property is at decent conditions. No elevator then if you don’t mind to carry luggages upstairs.

This property or should I say land was way more then expected. It’s private, secluded and overall just beautiful. if your looking for a real taste, feel, site, peace and privacy of the island with immaculate views this is the ying to your yang. This is a real retreat with real beautiful souls from the island that host here. They are kind caring & respectful and cool as f*** here! Me & my husband spent our honeymoon here we’re a union in our early 30s looking for some peaceful us time & we definitely found it here! if u want to travel near by resorts for a commercial feel u can do that with a car but even if you don’t have a car the people here so helpful u will never feel lost. This is much more then a vacation it’s a second home !!!! 5 stars

Hotel room was clean, roomy and beach and pool was great, especially pool was heated and could enjoy all the time.
However, room prep and staff at the reception was not great.
We booked with 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) but only 3 towels sets were in the room, and shampoo/conditioner/body gel were all out of stock.
We requested to bring another towel set and refill the shampoo etc, but towel set was brought almost an hour later, and no refill...
Also, at the time of checkout, we were charged the food/drinks which we didn't ordered, and it took almost 20 min. to confirm and remove from our bill. And there were no any apologizes about that mistakes...
I would say this hotel staff/service is not 5 star hotel, similar to 3-4 star hotel.

The property is amazing with beautiful views. The host is very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned before us. There was still hair in the drain that was not ours and cobwebs in many corners. BUT we would absolutely stay here again because it was wonderful!

"Great property for families with kids. Lots of amenities and options to fill your day. While it’s a 30 min drive from Kona, we preferred to stay in Waikoloa Village with the access to the various pools, salt water lagoon, watching dolphins, access to beach, kids club, etc."
