"Great location, good service, good breakfast.
Room decor is a bit dated, with peeling paint over shower, but otherwise a good bathroom with rain shower and light up mirror over sink"

"Restaurant food was excellent with great service.
Rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the quay.
Overall we had a most enjoyable stay and wished we had booked for longer. "
"Building work was going on but we were aware of that before arriving.
We didn’t like the QRcode ordering from the decking. Lacked the personal touch we found at a previous stay"
"We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, drove over 4hrs and was not disappointed. The grounds are absolutely stunning, our room was simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough to make your stay comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back soon. The rare bats that live in the tower are a really lovely feature to an already incredible venue, when we arrived it was dusk and they were very active, a real sight to behold. Next time we come, we will be staying longer, one night just isnt enough here! Thank you again for a wonderful stay. "
"We stayed here for two nights. Very charming hotel. It looks and feels like a manor house. We really enjoyed our stay there and liked our room. Very comfortable and clean. No air conditioning but there are plenty of windows that open and a lovely fresh breeze comes in. The room has a kettle and tea making as well as a safe. Power outlet next to the bed which is of course handy for charging your phone at night. It is a large room with a lounge area. Breakfast is good. Especially the scrambled eggs and salmon. The staff were excellent. They have wifi which was enough to run a couple of things. Great assortment of tourist information to pick from. There is ample parking out the front for cars. The hotel is a five minute drive into town. The bed although comfortable was small probably a double bed in size. "
"Great place to stay nice staff easy check in and out, food in the evening was great and drinks were very reasonably priced.Breakfast was great also nice and hot and freshly cooked.Would 100% stay again "
"Great location just off the main road (no road noise in our bedroom). Outside seating area was good, so we brough back a fish and chips and enjoyed it al fresco. Nice large bedroom, with views over fields at the back. Good shower, comfortable bed. Really good breakfast. Welcoming and friendly host. Good eating out places nearby."
"Wonderful hotel attention to detail staff are warm and friendly The spa is a welcome relief, nice relaxing set in a lovely location, we will definitely be coming back "
