"Very helpful owners, great room, though the bed was a bit hard. Location very close to a lot of restaurants and transportation, including the Tianmen Mountain cable car. Note: the hotel includes two properties a short walk from each other so it took a bit of sleuthing to find where to check in; the property with the front desk is “Hotel California.” The coordinates provided on Expedia also didn’t take us to the hotel; you need to head north, away from the police station and orthopedic hospital."

"Hotels.com had the wrong name ect with the wrong address and we booked this hotel off the reviews but the reviews were from another hotel, when we arrived at the airport there was no one there for us we had to call which was hard enough to be told get our own way or too bad, it was midnight we were tired and looked forward to a 4 star room to find a -1 star hotel, the rooms were filthy had not been cleaned in a month or more, the carpet was heavily stained everywhere, wallpaper peeling off and...

"Great value hotel in good location for exploring parks, located just next to cable car. Rooms comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast buffet okay, but fairly limited choices, and quite busy with larger groups of tourists when we visited. "We visited the hotel in off season so we have to expect that it is not up to full operation. I believe we were on two guests in this 900 plus room resort. The assistant manager was so helpful to us with researching things to do and places to eat in the area which made things much easier. The rooms were big and comfortable so no complaints there. I took advantage of the inexpensive in-house massages. Easy to get around using Didi. Would probably stay here again. "

"Super helpful hosts with very good English. Shared excellent recommendations for visiting zhangjiajie, Tianmenshan, and local food options. Even helped me get a car when my didi wouldn’t work! Cute night market outside and not far from train station and cable cars. Note the google maps location is wrong, it’s on the other side of the river, more north. Airport pickup was super helpful. Highly recommend. "

"This hotel is ideally located for exploring this beautiful, green part of China called Zhangjiajie. It's only a 12 minutes walk to the 'East Gate' entrance to the amazing National Forest Park where one of the highlights is the Avatar Mountain. The hotel is very closed to many eateries as well as the Grand Threater (the nightly show is a must) with huge rooms even for China standard and all the staff are very friendly and will attend to your every needs. Highly recommend. "

"Beautiful property and amazing hospitality. We were only here for 2 nights but felt right at home. Frankie took care of everything even before we arrived to Zhangjiajie and arranged for our entire trip from start to finish, including daily transport in and out of the park, and our wonderful dinner one of the nights. We even sang karaoke on our last night. Its a lot of fun! I highly recommend if anyone is considering. The west entrance is also quiet and away from the crowds for a quiet retreat."

Lovely Stay

"We picked this one due to the convenience of being close to the Wulingyuan national park, glass bridge, Baofeng lake, and HuangLong cave, all the main attractions you need to do - besides the epic Tianmen mountain which is located in downtown ZhangJiaJie just 30 minutes away. Hotel offers transport service from airport and park, but this is for a fee. Taxis, however, are low priced and convenient. Hotel check in team and concierge (Mark) are wonderful so make sure to check in with him for assistance with booking park tickets, restaurant recommendations, and tips on how to navigate the 4 day itinerary in the area. Massage on site is great and at reasonable cost. Rooms are slightly dated and in the wintertime, all public areas are very cold due to heat not being turned on. Only downside to our stay is the terrible breakfast. Coffee is undrinkable but manager offered better Italian style coffee from the bar. Still better off going to Luckin across the street. Dinner is equally bad, but we also preferred Cantonese options since we can't handle the seasoning of Hunan cuisine. Location of hotel can't be anymore prime, within walking distance to the main park and downtown area with Hey Tea, shopping, and other dining options. Pool looks lovely but obviously closed during winter."

"We stayed at this hotel for one night. The location is perfect for exploring Zhangjiajie national scenic park. It’s a 5 minute walk to restaurants, 10 min drive to the park entrance, and the staff were so lovely. They provided a map of the park and explained all that there is to do in that area. They also picked me up from the train station promptly and to/from the main entrance to the park the following day. The breakfast was also amazing! "
